Cleanse is over...

I finished on Sat. but just haven't had a chance to post yet. It went well. On Friday I ate a few steamed carrotts and a few spoonfuls of peanut butter (for my blood sugar level). Sat. I drank juice all day but I also ate salad and grapefruit and ended with a yummy chicken dinner. So really it was a 2 1/2 day cleanse. I wasn't feeling hungry but my body was telling me I NEEDED to eat. I really struggle with that dang blood sugar. Oh well I feel happy about what I did and more than anything it gave me some time to refocus on what I should be eating and got me ready to start off a new week. Now don't think I don' t ever enjoy the "desserts" in life. I do and sometimes to often. I just try to keep a balance in all things. This week I am starting a training program for a friend. She wants me to help her lose about 30 lbs. the next 3 months, so wish us luck. Today we went and ran sprints at the University Football Stadium. It was fun, the kids loved to be outside and running around.

Well, Lace, that sounded fun? You go girl. That'd be hard. I think I'm doing good cutting diet coke out of my diet (sort of). I'm down to one a day and it's hard. Thanks for offering to take the night shifts with the kiddo's. BUT, I'd take company during the day shifts, LOL! Anyhow, she's doing a bit better today. She just has a horrific stomache. BUT, it should start to feel better...right quick.

Good job! I think I"d like to do it next week. Do you just juice regular old fruits and veggies?

Kasey, I will send you an email as soon as I get a chance with some recipes for some different fruit and vegetable juices. I LOVE carrot and apples together. Do you have a juicer?

So, would you say it was worth it? And Candice told me you guys were looking for houses down here? You ARE moving back!?

Way to go on the cleanse. I did one and LOVED it. I felt so good, I'm going to have to try this one. I can't believe what happend with you and the shots. Hopefully things are going to change. I will totally give the info I have but I think you are doing it the right way. Wait until they are older and then only give the ones that are necessary. Again, I think you have the most beautiful children. We are moving back to AZ and are going to live with my parents until we find a place so hopefully I'll get to see you when you visit.

Lacey - that is so awesome!! Dan did a cleanse a few months ago. I've been wanting to do one, but they say not to if you are nursing or pregnant. Which is the story of my life I think!! Anyhow maybe after this baby. I've been itching to get out and run, the last couple of days have been warm enough I took the kids for a walk but it's hard to run when you waddle!! :)
