Slacker

I realize I haven't posted anything in a LONG time. I know I am a huge SLACKER! Alot has happened since Thanksgiving. Yes, I did my sprint triathlon. It was amazing. I finished the race which was my main goal this time. It was definately hard. Only riding my bike 4 times and actually "running" only 3 times prior to the race certainly didn't help. But I did it! Woo Hoo! My next goal is to get in better shape do it again and beat my time. I think I may be addicted! LOL! I also had my birthday! Travis got me a REALLY cute jacket that I love and can't wait to wear. Then life has been busy dealing with croop and trying to get ready for Christmas. We are totally ready. Everything is wrapped and in tupperware ready for our trip to AZ. I am very excited this year. My dad Paul is going to be in Az (at my sisters) for Christmas this year and it will be the first Christmas since I was 2 weeks old that I have spent with him so we are VERY excited! Pictures to come soon!

Cayden the "pirate" diggin in. Grandma and Grandpa had a pirate ship and the works and the boys absolutely loved it.
The "babies" as they are always referred too. Sitting by the door as mommies left.
And were off...... Hills and I leaving to bike to the Turkey Trot. It was so much fun!

Croquet Anyone?

Emery and Grandpa watching the game in action.
This is my HOT hubby whooping everyone!!!
Grandpa Rowley, love this man!!!
Cayden still in pirate form playing with the big boys!!

The apron gang

Boys playing football, not sure why they are still wearing their aprons, hmm???
Look at Clayton's height on this one!!
The "Gang" all in our aprons that Kristi made us. They all had our names on them, sooo cute! OH btw, notice the 3 boys in the back? Do they know how to be normal, I think not!
Ally also got an apron with her name on it and a cook book. She is so excited to help in the kitchen more.

Fun At Amazing Jake's

This was the frog jumper ride and Gavin was not sure about it at first.
Dad and Ally on the bumper cars, my kids thought they were in heaven.
Cadyden getting ready to ram his Dad and Sis.

The pedi's!!!! Oh so nice, minus the workers kids running around and baby crying. I'm not sure but isn't a pedicure supposed to be relaxing and away from your children?????
He loved the childrens area at Amazing Jake's, you would never know in about 10 minutes from now he starts puking his guts out and is soo sick. Poor baby!!
Ally looks a little unsteady don't ya think?
We didn't spin much but from the look on Gavin's face you would think we had just spun like crazy!
This is the picture of him liking it. I didn't get these in the right order, sorry. I love Cayden with his arms up!!

Only 2 weeks left!!!!

Yikes! Less than two weeks left until the sprint triathlon in Anthem!!! I am so happy to be doing this event, I only wish I had a few more weeks to train. I am doing the triathlon Dec. 8th and am pretty dang excited. Last weekend while we were in AZ. for Thanksgiving Hillary (my sis-in-law) and Mary (my cuz) and I did a bike- run combo and it was tough. It was sooo stinkin windy and cold and I just was not used to that. Honestly there came a point that had I stopped pedaling I would have either gone backwards or fallen over from the fierce wind. Let's all pray for good weather on the 8th!!! OH well as long as I finish the race I will be happy. I am not going for a medal, this time. LOL!
Back from Az. WE had a great Thanksgiving in Az. WE had a reunion with Trav's side of the family. It was alot of fun and his mom and Richard put a lot of work into it. Thanks! I am soooo excited to try out my new pressure cooker canner and make homemade jams and jellies!! YUMMY!!! We are happy to be home but really missing living close to so many family and friends. It is hard whenever we go home we wish we lived there. I will be posting some pics soon of our weekend. We had pedicures, croquet (sp?), marshmallow wars, Amazing Jakes, and Turkey Trot. A weekend full of fun, can't wait to go back for Christmas!

Halloween Shirts

This is the kids in their "HALLOWEEN" shirts they wore to school on Halloween. I loved Ally's hair, we did it like this so when she wore her "Hannah" wig her hair wouldn't hang out.

Halloween Party

This was at our ward Halloween Party, it was alot of fun! Isn't Travis SCARY! It was great, nobody knew who he was

Cayden playing a gross game where he had to reach into the box and touch something gross and guess what it is.
Ally playing the donut game. This was soo cute. They had the kids lay down with donuts strung on yarn above them and they had to see who could eat their donut first. "Hannah" did pretty good!

"Trick or Treat"

Grady was a STINKIN cute skunk, LOL!
Cayden sure loves anything ARMY and insisted on being an army guy AGAIN. Maybe when his uncle Jon is done with the army he won't be quite as obsessed with it.
Presenting......Hannah Montana! She was so excited about being "Hannah" for Halloween she even chose what clothes "Hannah" would wear! I am pretty sure she is a 16 year old trapped in a 5 year old body.
The "GOOD witch". When I told the kids I was going to be a witch for Halloween Ally made sure I was going to be a "Good witch and not a Bad witch".
"Hannah" and a few friends at the ward party!

Schnepf Farms

We went to Az over the weekend to see Emily one more time before she leaves for Germany! ( I am going to MISS her soooo much) and while we were there we went to Schnepf Farms. It was fun to be there with my family, Trav's family and my good friend Danielle came. Thanks everyone!

Round and Round the Merry Go Round!!!
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round!

Cayden Loved these bikes and went around and around the course!
This roller coaster is new since last time we went. Of course that was 6 years ago. LOL! It was a good ride, I Love that Cayden and Braeden had their arms up the whole ride.
Kamryn and Ally BUG going on the honey BEE ride
Check out his FACE I love it! He is so intense in everything he does.
All tuckered out! The HEAT there was insane, I don't know how I lived there for 25 years!

I survived! The first night was REALLY rough. I was so proud of myself for getting all 5 kids asleep before 8:30. THen the real terror began. Our dog, Brody, started frantically scratching at the back door for some reason. Then he would run around the back yard from side to side barking. He NEVER does this so I was freaking out. I thought for sure something or someone was in my backyard. He wouldn't stop, so of course my mind starts to go wild. I am hearing all sorts of noises and I am thinking to myself how will I protect 5 kids by myself? (I know I am a nerd) I called a lady from our ward who lives in our neighboorhood and her husband came over and checked out the backyard with a flashlight. I was finally able to go to sleep. The rest of the nights got better. The kids did really well. Not too many fights and they had fun. The hardest thing was trying to keep them quite, somewhat, while Grady took a nap. All in all it was a good weekend but I was SO ready for Sunday night.

This weekend will be fun! LOL! Travis will be gone from Thursday-Sunday and I thought I am going to be sooooo BORED! Then my girlfriend, Shannnon, called and asked if I could watch her 2 girls for the weekend. So we will have a house full. I think it will be alright, we will have pizza and movies and one of Cayden's friends is going to spend the night on Friday so he is not totally outnumbered. Wish me luck! The only thing hard will be trying to keep the house somewhat clean in case anyone comes to look at it. yikes!

A few pic's of Grady. I had to take a few of him too while I was doing Ally's pictures. I love the second one where he looks so tiny. I just need to get some of Cayden now. He was sick the day I took these so I figured he would look to hot in pictures.

A few cute pics of my "princess"

I had so much fun taking pic's of her. She LOVES to do it. The only thing is she poses for every one and I have to unpose her, but she is a doll and so much fun!

Slacker

I know, I realize I haven't posted anything new for like a month. No good excuses, just laziness. I am not fast at this blog thing and I am not creative at it either, therefore I don't do it often. I look at Kasey's blog and others, and it seems they are updated daily. What the heck? I will post some pic's soon, I promise!

Crazy weekend

My good friend Danielle from Mesa came to visit over the long weekend. We were so excited to have her and her kids come play. ( I love that Colton boy, well I love all of her kids, but Colton is just too funny) Well the whole week before she came Grady and I were both sick and I kept hoping we would be better by the time she came. She got here Friday afternoon and unfortunatley Grady was worse. So Friday night for like 3 hours I was gone at Urgent Care with him and Danielle was at my house with the kids and Travis. (Sorry Danielle, LOL) Sure enough he had a double ear infection. The night was not great and I felt awful. The next morning I had Travis go to Walgreens to fill a prescription for me ( I think I had a sinus infection) and he was in a car accident. NOT HIS FAULT! Thank heavens he wasn't hurt, I know my car got crashed but the most important thing to me is my sweet hubby and I am so glad he was ok. So we spent the whole weekend being sick and dealing with the insurance for a rental and all that fun stuff. So the weekend we were so looking forward to ended up being kind of lame, but I was still so happy she made it out for the visit. She is the ONLY one of my friends to come visit me in the last year that we have been here~wink~wink!
