Easter fun!!

We decided to go with all of my family to a family friends house who has a great backyard for egg hunting and have a fun day filled with food, egg hunting and swimming!!! My mom bought all the kids Easter clothes for the activity and they all looked so cute. Older boys matched, older girls matched, younger girls matched and little boys matched. It was so nice of her to do that and they looked adorable! Thanks Mom!!
The "little boys". Grady, Porter, Preston, and Drake.
Cayden and Reyna on the hunt for those hard eggs we hid for the older kids.
The younger girls all in the same spot helping eachother, don't know how many eggs they will find that way but whatever. Kamryn, Devin, and Ally!

Grady after he "fell" into the pool. I know I am a terrible mom. I was right there by him on the steps and he was LOVING to splash in the water so I told Trav to grab the camera and get some pic's of him and I turned my head for like 1 sec. to see if Trav had heard me and when I turned back around he was in the water. I felt really bad, the water was FREEZING!!!!
The girls dipping their feet in to cool off. The eventually ended up with their dresses off and swimming in their shirts and panties. Crazy kids, it was really cold water but they didn't care.
Grady LOVED the teeter-totter. He thought it was the greatest thing invented.

Egg Hunt at the Goodman's

Grady didn't quite get the "hunting" concept. All he knew and cared about was that if he tried hard enough to open the eggs he would find some really tasty things inside.
Cayden and Gavin starting the hunt!!! Gavin is such a funny kid and we don't stop laughing when we are around him. We can't wait to live closer to all of our family!

Ally was loving finding the eggs, she is so sweet!

I had to put this picture because this is what you get when Travis has the camera and Brian is around. CRAZY BOYS!!!
The "gang" in the Goodman's backyard. Thanks for having us all over Brian and Hill's, we love to be there.

Ally just noticed another egg and is filled with excitement to get to it before anyone else.
Cayden found all the eggs that were hidden in the playset.

Davis Visit

My good friend Danielle Davis and her family came for a visit a few weeks ago and we had so much fun. Poor little Colton fell flat on his face on the tile and got this big goosegg on his head. I felt so bad. He was so brave.
I had to post this one because when we used to live in the same ward in Az everyone thought we were sisters and then while they were here to visit and went to church with us so many people made comments like "oh it's so nice your sister could come visit" and "I didn't know you had family in town." One guy went up to her husband, Houston, and said "so your Travis's brother in law?" I think she is beautiful and am flattered but I just don't see the resemblance, what do you think?
Here are the kids coloring easter eggs. They had such a good time. I think Aubrey (Danielle's daughter) colored one egg at least 10 times. LOL! It was so nice to have them and we enjoyed going to the park, and coloring eggs, and just havin them hear to hang out with. Thanks guys!!!

So Irritating!!!!

I have had a few really long stressful days with Grady and I got all the kids in bed and wanted to come finish posting pictures of the fieldtrip and Easter and it keeps telling me there is an error in uploading and to try again. Well I have tried to many times already and am feeling very frustrated so again it will have to be put off. UGH!!!!

This is Cayden and his Best Friend at the zoo! They are such goof balls
Cayden and another buddy, Colton, chillin with the dino's
Here they are waiting at the museum in some random back room waiting to be able to go inside
This was this bike thing suspended in the air that you had to peddle out on and it was fun to see the kids reaction to me being up in the air, since they weren't big enough to do it themselves.
All in all it was a really good trip and the kids had an excellent time! Cayden will remember this field trip for his entire life.

Cayden turns 8!!!

Friday morning I woke up and started the project "the guitar cake". Cayden wanted this cake the minute he saw it online and was soooo excited about it. It took a real long time but it turned out pretty good, I was happy.
Then I took cupcakes to Cayden's class at school and he was so proud of them. We had decorated them the night before with swirls and squiggles and flowers and such. He kept telling his class "my mom made all of these by hand" it was very cute.
This is a special birthday because he turned 8 and will be getting baptized soon. We decided that the party should be special too, so we pulled out all the stops. He had about 12 kids come and we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, rented a bouncy slide castle, and then he had his cousins and a friend sleep over. He is such a special kid and I love him so much. I love that he knows what is right and wrong and rarely waivers. He is so smart and loves to learn, he prefers the discovery channel over cartoons any day. He loves to play sports and is really good at them. I can hardly believe it was 8 years ago that Travis and I were having our first baby!!!! Wow how the time flies. We love you buddy and are so proud of the choices you have made and especially
the most recent big decision to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

This bouncy slide that Cayden wanted was a HUGE hit, even though it was cold outside. I think we brought out every one of Cayden and Ally's jackets for the kids to wear but they didn't want to come inside.
The only time they came inside was to open presents and have cake and ice-cream. Best birthday entertainment we have ever had, I highly recommend it.

Cayden has been wanting a Nintendo DS for a long time and so we finally broke down and got him one. It was his FAVORITE present but it was cute he didn't even ask once to play it while he had his friends over cuz he would rather play outside with them.

They all loved the cake and he thought it was the "best cake ever".

The next morning we woke up and had strawberry waffles and then went to the school to play some baseball and tag on the playground. The kids all had a great time and when I asked Cayden later if he had a good birthday party his reply was "it was more fun than I thought, I knew it would be fun but I didn't know it would be that fun". That certainly makes it all worth it.

Cayden's friend Willoughby, that spent the night, he is such a goofball. He smothered his waffles in strawberries, whip cream and then syrup. I think he got sick half way through.

WOO HOO!!!!

Ok so I know I know I have no pictures but I have been busy getting ready for Cayden's birthday party tomorrow and stuff. I am SO excited. The guy "Dobber" from the gym called me back and they don't need me to do the swimnastics (I was kind of looking forward to that) but I get to do my own class. Yeah, I can't wait. I start TONIGHT. I did a practice run through the class with my girlfriend Shannon yesterday and we are both sore today, so it was working something, LOL! I am very excited to do this and get my foot in the door to something I LOVE. I will let you all know how it goes. I told Travis he should come take my class sometime too, that would be fun and interesting to see if it is a good workout for him.

Little nervous.....

Ok I am kind of freaking out. I have been wanting to start teaching aerobics and have filled out an application at the gym I work out at hoping to start off by doing some substituting or something. I want to do like a total body class we start off doing some excersices to get our heart rate up and then do alot of work with the big swedish balls and some free weights. The guy at the gym sounded very positive about this class and had me highlight the days and times I could work. I just got off the phone with him and he wants me to start tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Wait it gets better, he wants me to do the SWIMNASTICS class. What the ?..... I have done many many aerobics classes but NEVER a swimnastics class. I don't have a clue what it is and how to teach it. So I am going to go down there this afternoon to observe a class and apparently teach one tomorrow. I am not sure how this happened. I swam on the Masters team with the guy that is kind of in charge so I guess he assumes I can do this. I would feel fine if it was teaching swim lessons, but I don' t even have a clue what swimnastics is, guess I wll find out soon enough.
