A few Random pic's of Grady

Last week Grady got a much needed hair cut, however it was not meant to be this short. He is now called my "chemo baby". A few nights ago the other kids were in bed and I was just loving playing with him and took a dozen random pictures of him. I couldn't help myself he was just too cute. So here they are. Some happy and some not so happy.

School is back in session

The kids are officially back in school. They are loving it. Cayden is in 2nd grade and is in a multiage class with some 3rd graders so he thinks that is pretty cool. Ally has started Kindergarten and it is all day here and she thinks she is big stuff. She wants dad to drop her off in the morning. None of this mom walking her to school business. It was kind of a hard thing when I realized from now on 2 of my 3 kids are gone every day for 9 months out of the year from here on out. I don't feel old enough to be at this stage in life. Where has the time gone?

Painted faces

We had our Cluff family reunion the first week of August and was so much fun! It worked out perfect for the kids and I to stay put after the Sherwood Reunion and wait for the Cluff reunion to start, since they are held at the same place. We were in the mountains for 10 days and loved every minute of it. I had forgotten about reality and bills and laundry and was loving the relaxation. Face painting was a huge hit at the reunion. Heres just a few of the kids!
Cayden thought it was cool that his candy colored tongue matched his face.
Our little puppy dog! Isn't she cute.

Talent show

We had our traditional talent show on Sat. night and I thought it would be fun to do something funny for the kids. So last minute I got Emily, Lori, and Tifani to do this lip sync with me. It was a hit even though we really didn't have the props to make it good. Fun times though! Can we say "dorks" ha ha!
Sweet little Grady man chillin in the mushroom chair while daddy videos talent show. I was in charge so daddy had to do it all. Thanks babe!
The scavenger hunt! I want something from the treasure box! Ha ha, thanks Christi! The race is on! Ha ha, Cayden with clue in hand is off to find the next one!

Determined to not be last

Ally was determined not to be last to the next clue,
although her bag of cracker jacks was still in tow and mouth full!
