Memorial Day Fun!!

We had Travis's sisters two kids for the weekend and we had so much fun with them. They are great kids and we were glad we could help out and watch them. We hung out at the house for the weekend and went to Peter Piper Pizza and then on Monday we went to Trav's brothers house and had a BBQ with all 10 kids, wow! We spent (Travis even longer) hours filling up water balloons for the big showdown. We decided that the boys and girls would each have a base and they each had a cooler full of weapons (balloons) and they got to use their weapons on each other. Since the girls maybe had less chance of actually hitting the boys their base was loaded with a hose and a swimming pool as well to even the odds. This first picture is Gavin and Grady running away after their attempt to hit the enemy
Here are the girls at their base, loading up to head over to the battle ground
I love Grady's face here, he had JUST been sprayed with the hose and wasn't so sure he liked that.
Trav's wet face and chest after being hit by a balloon by Calvin, you will see later what happened to Calvin.
Ally really getting into it.
This was about the extent of Grady's involvement, he just grabbed a balloon, walked a few feet and threw it to the ground. He did try to hit the dog once, which was really funny
So Calvin, who is 10 years old, though it would be really funny to hit his dad and Travis but once he did...
It was payback time, and boy did he get it.
I went to check on the two girls and I found them playing so cute so I grabbed the camera and as soon as Ally saw she immediately put one hand on her shoulder and the other on her hip, what the ????
Grady and Emery before church, they are so much alike and at the exact same stages it was fun to watch them together.
More of the water balloon fight, it was alot of fun for the kids. So I guess the HOURS spent filling the water balloons was worth it.
I love this one, Noah about to launch one and Cayden just finished.

Memorial Weekend!

All of the kids, just before church. I thought it was funny they all matched and I didn't even plan it that way!
My honey, that I just can't get enough of!!
I love Grady's face in this one, it is like he is half laughing and half mad, I don't know I just thought it was cute!
We had been having a LOT of rain and then outside our backyard we saw these two beauties, very cool!

10 years and counting......

So, I am totally aware that I haven't blogged in FOREVER!! My computer has been acting up and quite frankly I just have been to busy and kind of burned out on blogging. There is really no way of catching up the last few months without writing a novel so I am just starting now. Travis and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary by spending 5 days together (no kids) in Vegas. We had a wonderful time despite some dissapointments in our show and a few other costly things. It was AWESOME to spend that time with the man I love more than ANYTHING. I am not just bragging on my husband because he is my husband but because he is seriously the most AMAZING person I have ever known. He has taught me so much and shown me through his example what true Christ-like Love looks like, I am so grateful to be married to him and get to spend ETERNITY with him. LOVE you BABE!!!!
I am sorry Ladies, he is taken!!! I get to look at this every day, what a lucky girl. Our Resort, Tahiti Village, was amazing. We are so planning to go back soon and take the kids, they would have loved it.
I didn't take too many pictures but got a few here and there, this was us somewhere, can't remember.
While we were there we went to "Bodies" it was incredible. The body is so complex and it was amazing to see these bodies and how intricate they are.
This was on top of the "Eiffel Tower" at the Paris hotel. This was something not worth the money. Sure once you were up it was a great view and we got to watch the "Bellagio" water show from here but we waited too long and once there it was super crowded and we had to wait about 30 minutes just to get in the elevator to come back down.
